Therapies

The therapies offered at ALT-MED in Elk Grove Village address a wide range of medical and physical conditions. We treat the whole person, combing the best of alternative and traditional medicine, taking special note of nutrition, stress and daily activities as well as reviewing tests and radiology films.

Because of the uniqueness of our practice, combing alternative and traditional medicine, Dr, Massey cannot operate as a Primary Care Physician (PCP). We recommend that our patients maintain their current PCP or seek out a PCP to handle their medical management.

Most insurance plans, including Medicare, do not require a referral to visit our practice.  Dr. Massey is a Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider.

Insurance
ALT-MED Medical and Physical Therapy is contracted with Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Other medical insurances usually cover medical evalautions but as an “out of network” provider. 

Insurance Coverage Medical insurance policies may not cover energy medicine therapy.
