Mature Musicians Study

Several residents at Alexian Village participated in two programs addressing Alzheimer's and memory loss. The goal of the programs are to determine if memory loss and dementia could be affected by learning a musical instrument or by receiving intravenous vitamins. The results are extraordinary. The musicians improved their cognitive score by learning a musical intrument and the individuals receiving IV vitamins not only improved their cognitive score, but maintained improvement weeks following their final IV.
